History of Lek Securities:
Lek Securities Corporation (“LSC”) is a Delaware corporation
founded in 1990. LSC is registered with the United States
Securities and Exchange Commission as a Broker Dealer and with the
Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a Futures Commission Merchant.
Lek Securities is exclusively engaged in the business of executing and clearing
orders in equity securities, options and futures, as agent, for
professional and institutional clients. Lek Securities is known for the ROX®
System, a PC-based order entry and management system that allows clients
to electronically access the stock exchanges, electronic communications
networks and market makers.
LSC started as a proprietary trading firm in 1990, making
option markets on the American Stock Exchange. ROX®
was developed in response to LSC's execution needs on the floor. It
provided LSC with fast, electronic access to the NYSE’s Super Dot
System. ROX®
has since evolved into a sophisticated order management system with
connections to stock, options and commodity exchanges worldwide. LSC is no longer
engaged in proprietary trading or market making of any kind.
